Accommodation

The accommodation base is not impressive, however, it is quite enough, that everyone can choose something for themselves

Hotels for undemanding

Sehir Palas Hotel, at the southeastern tip of Belediye Meydani, over the company Sema Truizm. What the more sensitive should avoid this place. There aren't even showers, and only wash basins and toilets in the corridor. Cena: 2,5 USD per person.

Cheap hotels

Hotel Kervansaray, Kazim Karabekir Cad.. 1, next to the parking lot next to the main square, tel.: (452) 21413 30. It's a big building, which cannot be overlooked. Not fancy rooms with showers. Prices: single room – 5,5 USD, double – 9 USD, triple -12 USD.

Hotel Ordu Palas, southeast of Belediye Meydam, in the street off Sirripaja Cad. Enjoyable, clean hotel, actually two opposite, with the one that is undergoing renovation. Some rooms without showers (there is only a toilet), but the one in the corridor was flawless. Cena: 4-5 USD per person.

Hotels of a higher standard

Turist Otel 2, Ataturk Blvd. 134, tel.: (452) 214 91 15, fax: (452) 21419 50. One of the best hotels not far from the city center, located approx. 200 m east of Belediye Meydam, on the main road. Prices (with breakfast): one person – 15 USD, two – 24 USD, three – 32 USD. Nice restaurant downstairs.

Gastronomy

Kervansaray Restaurant, at the bottom of the hotel with the same name. Extensive locant, where we will pay for a portion on average 1 -1,5 USD.

Beach Restaurant, on the very seashore We can get there by a promenade to the west of the center. In the restaurant, we will eat not only tasty fish dishes and Turkish cuisine (medium portions 5 USD), but we also rent pedal boats.

Cihan Restaurant, in front of the Jehir Palas Hotel. Nice place offering dishes at prices appropriate to its standard: Iskender kebab – 2,4 USD, locant portion -1,5 USD.

Sea Restaurant i Liman Restaurant, on the street between Suleyman Felek Cad. a Sirripaja Cad, southeast of the main square. Two similar locks le, prices a bit excessive: medium portions 2 USD.

Bathhouses

Saray Hamami is located south of Belediye Meydam, at the roundabout near the museum. The bath is a basket 1,7 USD, and washing – 0,35 USD. A slightly better bath is located close to the Aziziye mosque (west of him) Furtun Yah Hamami, where we will also pay for the bath 1,7 USD, but for washing (pouch) the same.

Informant

There are several banks with ATMs in the Belediye Meydam area, and the post office south of the mosque, near the stadium. We will use Internet access in several internet cafes, m in. Paradox Internet Cafe on the small side] a street off Suleyman Felek Cad. (first left, walking from the Aziziye mosque) or Ózgun Internet Cafe (by the river near Hanim Cad., towards the station). In both cafes, one hour of connection costs 0,7 USD. The main shopping street is Sirripasa Cad., which is a tree-shaded promenade. The other main streets are Hanim Cad. (from the square to the east Suleyman Felek Cad.) i Karabekir Cad.

Slap

Our next destination is the city of Tokat, located a bit more inland, near Sivasu. To get there, we will need almost a whole day, and at the same time we move the bones many times, by changing to the next dolmus (admittedly, we have a direct bus from Ordu to Tokat, but he goes through Samsun and Amasya, that is around, and the ticket costs 12 USD).

The first change will take place in Unye We will get there from Ordu by dolmus from the stop near the statue of Ataturk (2,5 USD, 2,5 time.). In Unye we will probably get off at a small amusement park and sports field. To the left, the wide Niksar Cad., which will take you to the bus station (turn left in front of the stadium, the otogar is situated at its rear). There are several attractions in the town itself; who would be curious about them, can walk to the tourist information office in the main square, where the town hall stands, statue of Ataturk and rising 500 – summer sycamore. We will reach the square, following the beach west of the main intersection. In Unye we will see a historic bathhouse, at least two old churches (one is just a ruin, and the other one has just been turned into the aforementioned bathhouse), a dozen or so Ottoman houses, and on the outskirts of the city, ancient tombs and the remains of a fortress, which can be seen from the dolmusha on the way to Nixar. Worth knowing, that St.. Santa Claus, who came here on the mission of converting the Gentiles.

There are no direct minibuses to Tokatu from Unye, therefore we must get in first to the dolmush to Nixar (3,5 USD, 2,5 time.). If we don't have intrusive company, we will spend a nice trip admiring the wonderful landscape, because the road goes through forested mountains and mountain passes. In passing villages, you can observe traditional granaries protected against mice by placing them on stilts. The piles are surrounded by a flat circular shield, so that the mice cannot climb into the granary.

Nixar is an old town (in antiquity, Neocezarea), which is worth seeing two old mosques: Ulu Mosque i Coregibuyuk Mosque, a stone bridge and a fortress towering over the center. Unfortunately, there is no time for a more thorough penetration, because we still have almost as much distance to Tokatu as from Unye (so at least 2 time.). However, we can easily catch a dolmus to Tokatu, so if we get here around noon, we can easily visit the town.
