Sinopu ​​is difficult to reach directly from cities other than Samsun or Kastamonu due to poor road network through the mountains. From the hinterland of the country, we will usually have to change to the bus to Sinopu ​​in these places.

A small bus station is on the main road, in the south-west district (right in front of the walls), on the bottleneck between the mainland and the headland, on which the city is located. After leaving the main street, we turn left (Cumhuriyet Cad.) and in no time we will be practically in the center, concentrated at Sakarya Cad. (extension of ul. Republic). The most important part of the city stretches from this street to the east, all the way to the sea. Most of the hotels and the tourist center are here, as well as a marina. Main square, Government Square (there is a town hall next to it), lies approx. 1 km northeast of otogaru, at the confluence of Sakarya Cad. i Atatiirk Cad. departing from it to the south. At the southern end of the latter, there is a park with the statue of Ataturk and the seaside promenade turning left from it.

How about the arrival, so, getting out of Sinop is not the easiest thing. There are several connections with Samsun during the day (3,5 USD, 3,5 time.) and Kastamon (7 USD, 3,5 time.). We will also get from here directly to the Stam-bul (14 USD, 13 time.) Ankary hour (10 USD, 9 time.) i Trabzon (10 USD, 10time ). The local tycoon among bus companies is Sinay 57, but we will also buy tickets in the Metro.

Accommodation

Even though Sinop is a small town, there are many hotels focused on tourists. Both domestic holidaymakers attract here, and foreign. Most hotels can be found at Kurtulus Cad. and in its vicinity. It runs from the marina to the park with the statue of Ataturk, parallel to the bay. There is also a campsite in Sinopa, and surprisingly, not so far from the city center, because only a few hundred meters south of the bus station, towards Mobil Plaji. Cena: 4 USD per tent, regardless of the number of people, however, there is not much room to break it down.

Hotels for undemanding

Hotel Gul Palas, Cumhuriyet Cad.13, tel.: (368) 261 17 37. It stands closest to the bus station. After leaving the otogar we turn left, to city centre. The hotel is on the left side of the street, right in front of the visible mosque. Dingy and tiny rooms, especially ones; showers and toilets, of course, in the corridor. Karahan Hotel, walking from the west along Kurtuluj Cad., first left after Tersane Haci Omer mosque, then take the first right – the hotel is situated in a small square. There is a specific smell in the rooms; toilets in the corridor – may raise reservations. Cena. ok. 4 USD per person.

Cheap hotels

Hotel Meral, M. kapi Mah. Kurtulus Cad.. 19, opposite T.C. Ziraat bank, tel. order: 0542 34710 37. One might judge by the salon, it's a very decent hotel, but the rooms are radically different from the living room. Admittedly, they are not very dingy, but it is hardly pleasant to call them. Prices per night in a room with a bathroom: one person – 8,5 USD, two – 14 USD, three -17 USD, a night in a room without a bathroom costs accordingly 5,5,9 i 11 USD.
